Universal replacement pad for V brake systems. The V2 pads are a little bit heavier than the original insert with 1.5mm extra material for longer durability.  The pad fits most Shimano style V brake holders

The special dual compound is a great all weather option incorporating the Black compound for normal conditions and the Salmon compound for wet and muddy conditions

Installation Instructions:

1. Remove the keeper pin from the holder
2. Slide out the old pad from the holder
3. Insert the replacement pad so that the notch lines up with the keeper pin holes in the pad holder
4. Replace the keeper pin
5. Break In Pads.  Full stopping power may not develop until after several braking applications have conditioned the rim surface.  Proper "toe in" alignment prevents brake chatter
6. Check the pad and rim alignment after the pads are broken in and after every ride
7. Important: Do not ride the bike until the brakes are checked and functioning properly.  Designed for bicycle use only.  All Kool-Stop Pads meet or exceed C.P.S.C and D.I.N bicycle standards
