Incorporting LineTec, 2 high power LEDs are positioned inside the 90 mm LineTec light strip which is a transparent glass that shines red. The light is super bright with 320° visibility. The standlight deactivates automatically after 4 minutes or manually by push button when parked. Weighing only 53 g, its very slim: 94 x 45 x 16.5 mm.  It has an integrated large Z reflector.

What is BrakeTec?

Dynamo rear lights with the BrakeTec function must be connected to Dynamo powered front lights. The BrakeTec Rear lights analyse a signal given off from the headlight and if speed drops significantly, a chip in the rear light will detect this and cause the rear light to light brighter in pulses. 

What is LineTec?

When a rear light shines only as a single point of light, other traffic participants approaching a bicycle at night from behind can estimate the distance only inadequately.  This changes when the rear light becomes a wide light strip: Now the distance can be percieved much more accurately, because the light strip emits a "spatial light" in the 'spaceless' dark.  This special technology that creates a homogenous light strip from one high output LED is called LineTec.
